Theme: Building Wakanda With the Next Generation

We witnessed a revolution and new level of curiosity ignited by the popular Marvel movie centered around a country in Africa filled with resources and undiscovered technology and a sound-absorbing mineral: vibranium. It’s discovery led to consequently turning Wakanda into one of the world's most technologically advanced nations. Although it was a fictional movie, we know that Africa has talents, figures, skills, resources and unmatched potential marked by the powerful rise of the continent. This event will impact the next generation of leaders, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and change makers. We will explore the “real-life Wakanda” and the power of the Diaspora through education, visual representation, workshops and demonstrations
